All-new for 2018, the Cadillac XT5 replaces the Cadillac SRX in the packed and quite popular luxury compact SUV segment. That should be enough to meet the demands of most buyers, but if not there are three other versions which are also available. When a potential danger is detected, the 2018 XT5 will notify the driver through a vibration in the seat, which can even provide information on where the potential danger is coming from. 20-inch wheels are also included, as are ventilated front seats.

Finally, the Platinum model adds a rear-view camera which displays what is going on behind you on a screen built into the rear-view mirror, a configurable set of instruments built into an 8-inch display, heads-up display, a 360-degree monitoring system, hands-free tailgate, uniquely-designed 20-inch rims, heated rear seats and other safety technologies such as vehicle tilt monitoring, vehicle motion sensor and alarm system.
